Who We Are

1.       Background Information - Che-Leigh Personnel Consultants is a Generalist Recruitment Agency with special emphasis in Healthcare, Employee Benefits, Financial and Call Centre placements. We recruit across the board, from entry to executive level and headhunt at no extra cost to our clients.

2.       Size of Company - Five employees work for the Company, consisting of, two Recruitment Consultants, Secretary, Receptionist and Office Administrator.

3.       Success Rate of Placements - Our success rate is way above average with an extremely low “fall-off” rate.  We pride ourselves with many satisfied clients, whom if required, would be prepared to give references on the calibre of candidates and the quality of service we provide. 

4.       Mission Statement - We are committed to recruit top quality candidates who will add value to our clients' businesses and to place them with clients who in return will enhance their career aspirations.  We endeavour to build long term relationships, based on trust and integrity, with both clients and candidates.
Our strategy is to work with organisations we understand and in industries with which we are familiar and our candidates are recruited accordingly.
Assignments for both candidates and clients are handled with extreme discretion and confidentiality.

5.       Our Latest Achievements - In 2014 Che-Leigh Personnel Consultants successfully placed the CEO of Sanlam Health as well as the Executive Teams for Sizwe and Hosmed Medical Schemes.

6.       Recruitment Strategy - Being a small Company, our Management has "hands-on" involvement in the recruitment and headhunting of candidates. We have an extensive database from which applicants are sourced and proper advertising also plays a major role in our recruitment process.

7.       Advertising - Regular advertising is undertaken in the National Press, in specialist publications, at Universities and Technikons and through the Internet at our own cost.

8.       Screening and Interviewing Candidates - We deal with our candidates in the most professional and confidential manner possible.  We pride ourselves on our interviewing skills, which are conducted in accordance with the Labour Relations Act.  We generally follow the following procedure:-

  • Telephonic Interview
  • Screening of Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal interview and skills testing
  • The following checks are undertaken on each candidate:
  • Reference checks
  • Credit checks
  • Qualification verifications
  • Criminal checks
9.       Affirmative Action - Since our inception, we have always strived to place high calibre candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds, in some instances even placing them in positions that had never before been open to Employment Equity.  This has enabled us to build up an extensive network of candidates from diverse backgrounds.

  • Assessing candidates to meet the job skill requirements - Candidates are interviewed, and thoroughly screened, ensuring their accurate details in terms of qualifications, experience and skills.  The results of these interviews are assessed against the client's skill requirements.  We diligently carry out credit checks, verify qualifications and check references.

  • BEE – Accredited Level 4

We have 30 years’ experience in the Recruitment Industry.  We offer personal attention to all our clients with regular visits by our dedicated consultants.  This is done in order to familiarise ourselves with our client's corporate culture and to understand our client's recruitment requirements.
